JOB OPPORTUNITY: RESEARCH COORDINATOR (COVID HCUB Study)
- RM2800 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
- University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Kuala Lumpur.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the day-to-day implementation of the study.
- Organize and monitor data collection and data entry (using REDCap and EMR systems).
- Serves as the liaison between funder, principal investigators, ethics committees (MREC, NMRR), and data custodians (UMMC, MySejahtera).
- Prepare study-related documents. (example: ethics amendments, progress report, consent forms)
- Assists in drafting project reports, publications, and presentation materials for investigators and stakeholders.
- Record the materials and equipment uses for study etc: tablet, phone.
- Monitors the project budget and ensures procurement and expenditures align with funding guidelines.
Experience and Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or equivalent.
- CGPA ≥ 3.00
- Good Malay and English proficiency (written & spoken)
- Experienced/Willing to learn the Redcap system
- Strong interest in clinical research and healthcare utilisation.
- Proactive, committed & well-organized
- Great teamwork and communication skills.
