Who We Are
The Centre of Excellence for Research in AIDS (CERiA) at the Faculty of Medicine at University of Malaya was established in 2008 to undertake clinical, laboratory and social science research and training in HIV/AIDS and associated co-infections.

The ECHO® Project Coordinator will specifically support an NIH-funded project entitled ‘Implementing Stigma Reduction Tools via a Popular Teletraining Platform to Reduce Clinician Stigma and Disparities in HIV Testing, Prevention, and Linkage to Care in Malaysia’. Project ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a popular teletraining platform that has trained, supported, and empowered 70,000+ clinicians to provide a wide range of specialty care services in 37+ countries globally, including HIV testing, prevention, and linkage to care. Our current objective is to incorporate evidence-based stigma reduction tools into Project ECHO®and pilot test our resulting intervention with clinicians in Malaysia.
Job Overview
The ECHO Project Coordinator, along with the research team, will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of project ECHO® activities, budget management, monitoring and evaluation and reporting with an emphasis on ensuring the timely and high-quality achievement of the project goal and objectives by the respective project members. The ECHO Project Coordinator will take lead in communication and coordination with research team members and hub members to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
The coordinator will assist in adapting Project ECHO curriculum for the project; scheduling and coordinating Project ECHO sessions; seeking cases for review during Project ECHO sessions; and overseeing management and abstraction of ECHO data.
