To oversee a UMMC site TAHOD database of HIV positive patients enrolled into care
and under regular follow up in the ID clinic in UMMC which contributes anonymized
data to a larger regional Treat Asia HIV database
Update enrolled patients’ Case Report Form (CRF) during every clinic visit and enter
lab results into TAHOD ACCESS Database provided by Treat-Asia.
Enter data rapidly, efficiently, and with minimal errors according to prescribed
formats as per the Data Specification Protocol
Verify information/data entered by checking against information/data source to
ensure correctness and completeness of data.
Prepare data transfer report every year (September) to TREAT Asia coordinator.
Perform Data Quality Check (QC) and Data Quality Assurance Check (QA) after data
Perform data back-ups as required.
Assist ID Unit Executive Assistant & doctors at ID office with administrative work as
well as involvement in any events organized by ID Unit.
Must possess a background in statistics (example; applied statistics, medical statistics
or any field is related to statistics).
Ability to apply project management skills. Advantageous to have problem-solving,
computer, and database skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience in handling and analysing data is necessary.
Willingness to learn and understand information in electronic medical records
(including medical abbreviations and terms).
Self-initiative, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong expertise in understanding data administration and management functions
(collection, analysis, distribution).
Trustworthiness and dependability (able to handle confidential and sensitive
information with no breaches in confidentiality).
