Malaysian Implementation Science Training (MIST) Programme in HIV

22 April 2020 – 31 December 2024

In collaboration with Yale University, UM was awarded a five-year Fogarty grant, the Malaysia Implementation Science Training (MIST) in HIV program – the first HIV and IR training scheme in Malaysia that incorporates a human rights focus. This programme aims to institutionalise implementation research (IR) in Malaysia through initially training UM faculty and UM doctoral candidates in IR who will then train the next generation of researchers and implementers.
